As an Internationally Accredited Coach and Mindfulness Teacher I work with professional and individual clients, assisting them to reach their goals, gain clarity, develop resilience, acquire a positive mindset and stay motivated. These sessions are carried out 121 over a 4 week period. The Mind Power courses concentrate on mindfulness, mindset and motivation as appropriate. I work directly with students and parents delivering Mindfulness Mind Power courses in a school setting or at home. We use a variety of techniques, creating a pause, settling children, regulating intense emotions to lowering exam stress with older students. You will learn how to incorporate mindfulness into your day and the science behind the technique. The results speak for themselves, an ability to pause, be present and reset, is valuable for all our mental health.
We can be blown off course without a map or compass and be surrounded by foggy thinking. For some, this undermines self-confidence, general wellbeing and happiness. We all benefit from being accountable, having someone in our corner, willing us on or helping us to learn a new skill. That’s where I come in. Louisa came into our school for a day in the summer term to run Mindfulness sessions with all our pupils from Nursery School to Year Two. All the children and staff felt the benefit from the sessions, which focused on mindful bodies and listening, mindful breathing and anchors as well as mindful body scans and mindful eating. The children all commented on how much they enjoyed the sessions, some saying that they had gone home and taught some of the activities to their families. We continue to use mindfulness within our classes.
