Don’t tell me I can’t!

2019 has been an interesting year, working with clients who are seeking change but not sure where to start. That I suppose is where I come in as a Coach. A sort of compass, a career compass, a wellbeing compass and mindful compass.

It has taken me 10 years to grow my business and turn my passion for positive change to enable others to shine. I would be lying if I said it has been easy, it hasn’t but it has been worth it. When I was told by someone who I thought loved me, that I can’t become a coach and it would be a waste of time, I just thought “why can’t I?” and did it anyway.

So I always start with the “Why” with my clients and usually go from there. In this blog I initially wrote just over 600 words but was reminded of this fabulous TED Talk by Scott Dinsmore who shares with you my thoughts on the topic. So please click the link, sit back and enjoy.

I hope that his words resonated with you and you are feeling in a more positive space. The book Scott refers to in his talk is called Strength Finder 2.0 and is a cracking read. Find out who you are and where your passions lie before embarking on your journey. It is very insightful, I took the test and the results were a great help in confirming to me my own strengths. This enabled me to call my first coach and make positive changes and live my best life passionately.
